No! You Don’t Know…

“I know what it is like to hear to that you cannot go on a road or through a checkpoint because you are Palestinian … I understand the feeling of humiliation and powerlessness.” Condoleezza Rice [here]

Madam Secretary! … You don’t know nothing! Absolutely nothing…

  1. hahahaha
you made me laugh walla :p

she said that ?? how ironic …

now palestinians can’t get out of gaza to co to makka ..

imagine a jew being in the same position …

    this is just unfair …

  2. And you Sir, don’t know what YOU are talking about. You, as a Palestinian, oppressed as you are, has had the wonderful opportunities to travel abroad to study at University, will never be as oppressed as the black people where Ms. Rice grew up. Since you are currently in Atlanta you are very close to many many places where you can see what life was like for them. Go visit an old plantation that is now a museum. Read up on Rosa Parks or Martin Luther King and talk to some people that were around back then. See if you can even consider comparing their lot to that of the Palestinians who VOTED their current situation in.

  3. Lynn,

Well that actually proves my point; because when the Bush administration (which Miss Rice is part of) is supporting the Israeli government blindly in each and every crime against humanity they commit in the occupied territories, that’s what makes me say “she doesn’t know how it feels”… When someone like Rice who comes from a once oppressed and segregated south and be a part of an administration that is proven to be catastrophic for the world and the U.S. people in particular. This total self-denial and ignorance from Rice’s part is a total disgrace for the values the American people are living with. Remind me how the administration in Washington responded to the catastrophic Katerina in which the “people of Rice” were hit… Rice, being a part of an administration that doesn’t care or uphold the human liberty (eavesdropping, water boarding, torture, Abu Gharib,..) makes her a disgrace for the civil rights movement and shouldn’t be put in a context were the great M.L. King or Rosa Park are mentioned. Personally, I admire and appreciate the great values of MLK and the civil rights movement, and yes, I visited MLK site in Atlanta many times and visited the Civil Rights Institute in Birmingham, AL as well. and again, I believe that Rice and any person serving in the Bush administration is a total disgrace for the American people and every American should be embarrassed by those “leaders”.

  4. You failed to compare the your and the rest of the Palestinians lot in life with that of the blacks of the south before the civil rights movement . I think that is because you can’t. Also, I think that you can also find evidence that they are not supporting Israel blindly. Do you blindly support the suicide bombers that attack innocents in Israel? They are the ones that make it necessary for Israel to restrict people’s freedom. It is to protect people from a real threat. You cannot deny that there is a real threat there can you? Do you get angry and feel singled out and discriminated against when you are asked to take your coat and shoes off at the airport?
